Position Overview: As a Psychologist at Priority Group Services, you will be instrumental in providing psychological assessments, interventions, and therapeutic support to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans.Responsibilities:Psychological Assessments:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents.- Utilize standardized testing and clinical interviews to inform diagnostic impressions.Individual and Group Therapy:- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to children and adolescents.- Collaborate with clients and their families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:- Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care.- Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and develop integrated treatment strategies.Crisis Intervention:- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients during challenging situations.- Collaborate with the team to develop crisis prevention plans.Treatment Planning and Review:- Contribute to the development and review of individualized treatment plans.- Monitor and assess treatment progress, adjusting plans as necessary.Documentation:- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.- Provide written reports and updates to the team as required.Qualifications:- Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the state of New Jersey.- Experience in child and adolescent psychology preferred.- Strong assessment, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
