Description
Lead end-to-end demand and supply planning process to deliver accurate demand, forecasts and provide significant market intelligence to achieve sustainable growth and to exceed business expectations.
Duties include budgeting, inventory and service management, risk analysis, and taking active role as process owner on the IBP
At this level, the position has a greater degree of impact on the business results
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Act as a single point of contact for SMIP commercial leader.
Lead IBP process ensuring visibility and alignment of sales, operations, and financial plans.
Develop/ Lead demand forecasting process with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Sourcing Affiliates to generate 24 month consensus demand plan which reflects market demand (by SKUs/ Brands/ Channels) by applying statistical and collaborative planning tools in SAP system. Monitor actual vs. planned sales performance, then communicate abnormal changes/ developments (if any).
Develop/ Lead supply network planning process to balance customer service level vs. inventory carrying cost vs. product quality level. Identify and resolve supply constraints by expediting purchase orders, re-allocating existing inventory and establishing safety stock parameters. Handle shelf-life / aging inventories, then communicate proper preventive/ corrective action plans (if any).
Develop, publish, and maintain the net requirement production plan and execute purchase orders to external manufacturing, while balancing inventory, resources, and capacity to meet customer needs. Ensure ERP system is full leveraged to Lead the forecast and firm planned orders to drive requirements for rolling 12 month horizon.
Support month-end close and budget requirements. Work closely with finance to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as identify root cause and corrective action on revenue/ cost drivers and variances.
Lead market authorizations (MA) and special import quotas/ licenses. Ensure compliance with regulations set by MOH.
Drive new product introduction and SKU rationalization processes to keep portfolio at an optimal mix.
Lead / support continuous improvement process and Toll Manufacturing projects.
Monitor/ improve KPIs for E2E supply chain including cost, service, quality, and compliance.
Create/ change product master data and customer master data in SAP system.
Handle assigned task relating to Control Substance (if required).
