　　UPMC's Fisher Road Family Practice is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse to their team. The LPN provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.

　　Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p, or 8:30a-5p, or 9a-5:30p, can be a little flexible. NO WEEKENDS. NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Help MA's room patients if needed

　　Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs, weight, confirm medical history, verify meds

　　Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments

　　Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.

　　Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.

　　Call patients with bloodwork results, schedule patient if needed

　　Task Baskets i.e. Medication refills, patient questions, fill out needed forms

　　BP Check's

　　Wound Care

　　Phone triage

　　Draw blood if needed

　　Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).

　　Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.

　　Comply with all policies and procedures.

　　Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.

　　Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.

　　Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.

　　1-year clinical experience preferred, but not required.

　　New LPN graduates welcome to apply! Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

　　CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

　　Clearances must be dated within 90 days

　　Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

　　Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

　　Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

　　Act 33 with renewal

　　Act 34 with renewal

　　Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
