POSITION SUMMARY This professional positionassists the multi-disciplinary team as it relates to clinical servicesprovided to the patient population. Frequent exposure to communicabledisease, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditionscommon to a clinic environment. The LPN is responsible for maintainingtheir own clinic and mandatory education requirements for meeting theestablished standards of their profession. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESAchieve Results * Ability to gather clinical data * Maintainsdocumentation in clinic record to ensure accurate tracking of thepatient medical treatment * Prepares and Administers Medication andImmunizations * Schedules/Informs Patients regarding procedures *Follows procedure for handling various specimens/cultures * Followspain Management protocols * Performs/ Assists with wound care *Locates and uses equipment required for providing patient care *Prepares and assists with procedures Operational Excellence *Demonstrate excellence in customer service. * Demonstrate excellence inHIPAA compliance. Relationships * Develop and maintain favorableinternal relationships, partnerships with co-workers, includingmanagers, providers and support staff. Stewardship and Professionalism* Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct andcommunications represent the organization in a highly professionalmanner at all times. * Uphold and insure compliance and attention toall corporate policies and procedures as well as the overall mission andvalues of the organization. PRIMARY TASKS AND DUTIES Performs generalnursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications andtreatments in accordance with nursing standards. Assists with thepreparation of equipment and aids the physician/physician assistantduring treatment, examination, and testing of patients. Observes,records, and reports patient\'s condition and reaction to drugs andtreatment to physicians/physician assistants. Maintains timely flow ofpatients. Greets patients and prepares them for physician/physicianassistant examination. Screens patients for appropriate information.Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests. Arranges forpatient testing and information. Posts tests and examination results.Responsible for preparation of exam rooms including re-stocking oftreatment areas. Participates in CLIA and OSHA compliance andmonitoring. Participates in professional development activities andmaintains professional affiliations.
