What You'll Do
Apply advanced knowledge of engineering principles and concepts to the broad categories of product design, manufacturing & manufacturing test development, and validation/qualification challengesCollaborate with product teams early in the development cycle to understand design intent and direction, and to ensure high levels of DFX are achieved, with an emphasis on DFTPartner with R&D engineers to drive rigor in deriving appropriate and thorough manufacturing & manufacturing test requirements, and to ensure that production systems are aligned with the capability of the productArchitect test capabilities and systems based on an existing, common SRCTec platform while developing customized features and interfacesProvide direct support to factory and sustaining personnel during new product transitions to volume manufacturingParticipate in multiple product manufacturing development efforts simultaneously and partner with various functional resources as requiredEnact test improvements through implementation and validation of test hardware/software changesCoach and mentor junior test engineers and less experienced staff in effective manufacturing and manufacturing test design practices and conceptsWhat You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field with 12+ years of related experienceDisplay strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, professional demeanor while interfacing with all levels of the enterpriseMaintain flexibility and stability in a constantly changing technical environmentApply methodical and analytical problem-solving skills to challenging manufacturing and manufacturing test issuesUtilize skills in project management to ensure timely and complete execution of production development effortsA data driven decision-making mindsetUnderstanding of test engineering principlesMust be U.S. citizenPreferred Skills

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $132,226 to $157,327 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
