JOB REQUIREMENTS: A Signature Two Company Hair Stylist is a licensedprofessional responsible for providing quality haircare services andproducts to guests in a friendly, professional manner, striving toachieve high levels of guest satisfaction and guest retention. Thestylist will accomplish this by following company principles for guestservice, using company-selected techniques effectively, creatively andwith efficiency. The stylist provides selected hair care services, suchas shampooing, cutting, coloring, perming, relaxing, and styling hair,and removing hair using tweezers and hot wax. The stylist will alsoparticipate in company-sponsored events that enhance the communities inwhich we operate, and enhance the reputation and desirability of thecompany\'s services and products. Job responsibilities may includeAnalyze guests\' hair and other physical features to determine andrecommend services, products and hairstyles. Bleach, color, or tinthair, using company-supplied materials. Comb, brush, and spray hair orwigs to set hairstyles. Create updos or elegant hairstyles for formalevents such as prom, weddings, or other occasions. Educate the customerand recommend products to help the customer maintain his/her hairstylebetween store visits. Demonstrate and sell hair care products. Clean andmaintain the cleanliness of all salon areas. Clean and sanitize toolssuch as shears, trimmers, clippers, combs and brushes. Schedule guestreservations. Operate computer-based tools including a POS system tosell products and services to guests and Receive cash and credit cardpayments. Update and maintain customer information records, such as theservices provided. Receive product and salon equipment shipments.Organize products and salon equipment on shelves and in storage areas.Count product inventory and record information in computer systems.Demonstrate products and services to guests and to other companyemployees. Attend required training and employee meeting sessions.Maintain effective financial controls, including, Correctly chargingguests for services provided and products purchased, including properdiscounting according to company guidelines - Effective control of salonoperating costs relating to back-bar and retail inventories, and, -Safeguarding company assets by adhering to company policies andprocedures. Demonstrate knowledge of the chemical composition,structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processesand transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicalsand their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, anddisposal methods. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Stateof Wisconsin Cosmetology or Barbering License required.
