The expertise provided by the Legal Program Specialists supports the administration and operations of the office, the management of OGC's statutory and regulatory programs, and the integration of its automated resources with its program responsibilities and legal processes. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pay Band 03 Legal Program Specialists possess knowledge of OGC processes, programs, technology, and practical knowledge of legal terminology. They support the administration and operations of the office and its attorneys and paralegal specialists, the office's statutory and regulatory programs, and integration of the office's automated resources with its program responsibilities and legal processes. Pay Band 03 Legal Program Specialists provide technical and operational support to various practice areas, including claims examination, ethics, and all stages of the litigation process (e.g., depositions, hearings, appeals) that enable OGC and NGA programs. Non-executive NGA employees are assigned to five distinct pay bands based on the type and scope of work performed. The employee's base salary is established within their assigned pay band based on their unique qualifications. A performance pay process is conducted each year to determine a potential base pay salary increase and/or bonus. Ability to manage and retrieve data from a variety of databases/files/systems. 4. Demonstrated experience working in a legal office/organization and/or experience as a legal assistant.
