Our work scope is broad and deep, forging the path toward ourvision of millions of people living and working in space.This opportunity reports to the Lead Systems Engineer of the Orbital ReefProgram. As part of a growing, hardworking, and curious team of engineersyou'll be deployed to activities that shape the future of Blue Origin'sHuman Spaceflight efforts.As part of a team of systems engineers, you will contribute to thedefinition, development, and execution of the integration space station.You will engage with teammates and foster a broader understanding of SystemsEngineering to develop products to support requirements, design,analysis, verification, and validation activities of complex systemsthrough the systems lifecycle. You will need to use strong interpersonalskills to interact with end users, system owners across Blue Origin andexternal resources to establish first in class systems for our programs.Special MentionsRelocation providedTravel expected up to 10% of the timeResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Utilization of Systems Engineering, PLM, and collaboration tools such as(but not limited to) DOORS, JIRA, Confluence, Windchill, andCameo, SharePoint.Support a broad team by leading the creation of and/or modification ofanalytical models.Perform complex integrated analysis for the Orbital Reef Program.Provide engineering support and technical ownership with concept ofoperations, requirements development, functional decomposition, systemverification, validation, integration, and test.Apply knowledge, principles,theories,andtechniquestoadvancethe programEstablish product and processes metrics that effectively measure and improveperformance of supporting systems.Identify and fix gaps in existing process, tools, infrastructure, andcontinually improve solutions along the way.Develop and implement best practices to deploy to the program.Test applications and build test cases and scenarios for successful deploymentof solutions.Develop and mature Systems Engineering documentation (such as, but notlimited to, Concept of Operations (ConOps), Systems EngineeringManagement Plan (SEMP), Verification Artifacts).Minimum QualificationsM.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics.Industry practice in Systems Engineering tools and processes.A breadth of deep understanding, backed by experience, of theprinciples, concepts, and methods of systems engineering such as conceptdevelopment, requirement definition, design solution definition,...
