　　St. Luke’s Health System in Magic Valley is seeking a full time RN to join our AMAZING PreOp/PACU Surgery Center team.

　　**$10,000 sign on bonus (new hires)

　　Schedule: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) 4 10-hour shifts Tuesday-Friday. Start times will vary from 0600 to 08\00 based on surgery schedule needs. No weekends or holidays.

　　Unit Summary

　　Surgery Center performs outpatient surgery for Orthopedic surgery, Podiarty surgery, ENT surgery, and Plastic surgery. This is a fast paced environment focused on safe and excellent patient care. We have 2 sides of the surgery center: Peri-Anesthesia and Operating Room. Both sides work together efficiently and collaboratively for the benefit of the patients and surgeons

　　Responsibilities

　　Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

　　Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.

　　Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.

　　Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.

　　Manages care of patients.

　　Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.

　　Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

　　Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.

　　Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree

　　Experience: 1+ year PreOp, PACU experience highly preferred

　　Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice ACLS and PALS Highly preferred. BLS is required.
