Description

　　A distinguished law firm championing the cause of those wrongfully injured. We are currently seeking an experienced, resourceful, and dedicated Personal Injury Plaintiff Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is expected to show impeccable professionalism, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive attitude in helping our clients navigate their legal journeys.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness.

　　Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.

　　Administratively support and attend trials.

　　Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories and testimony.

　　Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research.

　　Source and verify essential case information.

　　Prepare and submit legal documents such as legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems.

　　Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys.

　　Manage the day-to-day handling of personal injury files.

　　Legal fact and basic legal research.

　　Assist with settlement negotiations.

　　Requirements

　　Proven working experience at least 3 years as a legal assistant in the area of personal injury plaintiff work.

　　Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system of TX

　　Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.

　　4.Experience and familiarity with: Notice Of Representation

　　File retrieval from prior counsel.

　　Scheduling & Date Acquisition

　　Depositions

　　Hearings

　　Order Medical Records

　　Working knowledge of case management software.

　　Paralegal certification or associate degree (Preferred).
