This position will be based at our Enumclaw, WA location. This position will provide support and services in functional areas of human resources including safety & workers compensation, recruitment, AAP/EEO, HRIS data accuracy (Peoplesoft), benefits administration, compensation & time and attendance, training and development and other employment matters. Partners with team members and the plant leadership team to drive engagement through HPT (High Performance Teams).Essential Functions:Support and lead change as required, creating understanding amongst employees and assisting in the modification of systems and structures.Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.Partner with the Recruitment Specialist to facilitate onboarding and orientation of new or transferred team members.Administer the compensation programs for hourly employees including, but not limited to, job analysis, salary surveys, compensation reviews and performance review systems.Assist in the administration of benefit programs including eligibility, enrollment and effective communication.Help drive EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) effortsMaintain good rapport and working relationships with employees and supervisors in an effort to prevent, resolve and/or cope with employee issues affecting the workplace. Support an issue-free environment. Assist supervisors and managers in handling and resolving employee and/or performance issues. Spend time on the production floor talking to employees and identifying employee needs.Recommend and interpret company policies. Ensure company practices comply with federal and state employment laws and regulatory agency requirements.Maintain HRIS and support questions relating to Time and Attendance systems ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and other employee transactions.Facilitate learning and development opportunities and training plans.Coordinate and conduct employee meetings and a variety of company social functionsAssist with the required workers comp and OSHA reporting.Must have a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline.2-4 years of working experience in Human Resources or equivalent certification for experience.Proficient in MS Office applications, Peoplesoft and Success Factors experience a plus.Must have ability to build relationships with people at all levels of the organization.Position requires ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form in order to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers employees, and the general public.Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute deliverables in a timely manner.The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, and keep secure confidential data and records10-15% travel to company meetings, recruitment fairs and other required trainings.The essential functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
