  This position is responsible to partner with the Learning & Development Team and other functional areas of HR (including internal stakeholders) in managing training operations, LMS administration, Coordination on New Employee Orientation, maintenance of all employee training records. The position also requires the individual to coordinate with other team members of India People & Culture (IP&C) to work on people experience matters.

  This is a great opportunity to learn and work with a dynamic team and manage responsibilities associated with the learning & development team at USP. This role will also involve work on the organization initiative related projects pertaining to Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity & Belonging and initiatives as needed.

  As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within our organization.

  How will YOU create impact here at USP?

  The position's purpose should provide a high-level overview of why the position exists and briefly identify the most critical priorities of the position. This is an opportunity to highlight any features or duties of the role related explicitly to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging work of the Department.

  Engage with internal departments to create an effective process to determine the training needs of employees annually and quarterly.

  Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions/ training programs by creating feedback forms to capture numerical scores and verbatim feedback.

  Collaborate with L&D Manager on L&D Projects such as Facilitator Guide, Participant Handouts, Classroom Activities, Learning Manuals and Games.

  Plan training implementation strategy – dates, timing, venue, logistics, participant handouts, facilitator handouts, refreshments etc.

  Assign learning courses to end users through the LMS and record training programs in LMS and maintain employee training records for reporting and audit.

  Build collaborative relationships with staff of different departments and ensure there is traction in all the learning phases.

  Build Pre-Learning and Post-Learning Assessment tests and provide strong support on developing a training curriculum.

  Research on new training methods and models by keeping self, updated about the various trends and new approaches pertaining to learning and organizational development.

  Coordinates on cultural and people-focused initiatives within the organization that includes employee engagement, cultural engagement and shift, feedback strategies, tools, and some elements of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), working closely with our Lead DEIB Partners.

  Design and develop flexible learning interventions that can be customized as per the organization’s needs.

  Deliver Employee Induction Program for new employees.

  Other special projects and duties as assigned.

  Who USP is Looking For?

  The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:

  Example:

  Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Human Resources/ Psychology or related field with a minimum of 5 – 8 years of relevant experience.

  Strong working knowledge with MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  Relevant knowledge and expertise of using Instructional Design Tools and managing Learning Management Systems

  Any other certification obtained from recognized bodies in the field of learning and organizational development.

  Additional Desired Preferences

  A person who has the creative spark to bring fresh ideas that help reinforce our culture and be passionate about helping people succeed. Experience working in a globally dispersed organization preferred.

  Possesses knowledge and experience working on organization people and culture.

  Ability to learn quickly, creating internal partnerships, promoting collaboration, and recommending strategies that fit the people experience and business models.

  Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.

  Strong problem-solving skills, time management, organizational and prioritization skills.

  Lead and execute small projects with minimum supervision.

  Analytical abilities and attention to detail.

  Ability and desire to work well with diverse employees and customers in a cooperative and friendly manner.

  Able to negotiate and make the right decisions while finalizing learning vendors.

  Knowledge of Managing LMS and working on Web-Based Learning Tools.
