Reporting to the Regional Lean Manager, this person will be responsible for deploying Lean methodology and driving Continuous Improvement within manufacturing facilities assigned.  Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is preferred.ABS comprises three fundamental pillars: Strategy, People, & Process.Those business system pillars are supported by Lean Daily Management (LDM), how we manage and sustain the business that we have today, and Strategy Deployment Process (SDP), how we build the business that we aspire to become.The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for assisting and occasionally leading the deployment of Lean methodology including strategy design and deployment, training, coaching of subject matter expertise, and working closely cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehousing, Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Human Resources, and Quality.What you'll do:Support the manufacturing facility's ABS Control Room process to sustain the connection between Strategy Deployment, Lean Excellence, and Facility Transformation initiativesSupport and create elements of the lean daily management systemEngage with ABS and facility leadership to assist with achieving specific targets to achieve improvements functionally and strategically in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation metricsDevelop, facilitate, and lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities to identify & prioritize improvement opportunitiesWhat you'll bring:
