Nike Pacific is hiring for a Territory Partner Visual Manager, Consumer Direct Marketing and Visual Merchandising & Styling. We are looking for curious, driven individuals who bring a passion for retail & collaboration and understand the power of well thought out and executed plans in store. This role plays an integral part in ensuring the brand priorities and presentation strategies & standards are implemented consistently across Nike Marketplace Partners (NMP). In this role, you will build and drive strategy through both brand and business lenses and translate Global & Geography Nike Marketplace Partners Visual Merchandising & Styling direction in a compelling way to inspire territory, Nike Marketplace Partners teams and the Partner to ensure flawless execution. We are looking for someone who has the ability to create solutions and navigate diverse and ambiguous scenarios, someone who is a proven people leader, with strong communication and influencing skills and a result and solution-oriented mindset.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will be required to develop a clear territory Nike Marketplace Partners strategy and execution plans for Visual Merchandising & Styling and product presentation regarding priorities, service levels and expectations with strong communication skills to manage across functions, territory and the greater Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) geography. A typical week consists of regular brand & business cross-functional meetings focused on seasonal Visual Merchandising & Styling execution. This includes frequent store visits and close engagement with territory, Nike Marketplace Partners and Partner teams. Your primary focus is to ensure that retail consumer experiences are well executed/adapted, aligned with brand expectations/standards and drive expected financial and productivity results. Ongoing team and talent development as well as the deployment of Visual Merchandising & Styling training curriculum also play a large role in ensuring the continued growth and elevation of the team. You will work closely with the Asia Pacific Latin America geography Visual Merchandising & Styling team to share feedback and best practices related to what’s working/not working and define opportunities for future seasons. Additionally, you will work closely with a cross-functional team of brand and business partners on the mapping, opening and sustaining of doors across your territory.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will work with a diverse set of teams and individuals across multiple brand and business functions including, Nike and Nike Marketplace Partner teams, from the field to Nike World Headquarter-based organisations. This role reports directly into the Consumer Direct Marketing Director for Nike Pacific but requires immersion with Partner Marketing teams. The expectation is that the individual builds and sustains strong and collaborative working relationships with multiple partners from Partner Marketing, Merchandising, Partnership Transformation and Operations to ensure flawless execution in the field. You will also work closely with the Asia Pacific Latin America geography Visual Merchandising & Styling and Partner Marketing functions to build a strong flow of communication to continually improve tools and direction developed by the geography and to inform the team of relevant marketplace learnings and competitive trends.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's Degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design or related field or extensive experience in Visual Merchandising in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, product merchandising or directly related experience.
Demonstrated ability to balance and navigate the art and science of visual merchandising & styling.
Demonstrated capabilities in team leadership, people development and coaching & mentoring a diverse team of young talent.
Demonstrated experience creating engaging and inspiring in-store displays. Footwear & apparel experience is preferred.
Ability to create unique presentation solutions for various retail environments that inspire the consumer, drive sales, and align with the Nike brand voice.
Knowledge of current retail landscape and the latest trends and innovations for retail.
