WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As part of the Consumer Direct Marketing, Partner Marketing team, you’ll manage the overall development and execution of Partner Marketing strategy. You will be responsible of compiling and supporting creation of seasonal product presentation plans and briefs against category defining and business driving product stories. You will execute against geo tools and deliverables to develop seasonal retail directive, and also plan product marketing and campaigns for key partner retail. You will work directly with store staff at partners for in-season read and react and proactively capture consumer first, data driven retail insights.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will report directly into the Japan Consumer Direct Marketing, Partner Marketing Director. You will work cross-functionally with key wholesale accounts and partner internally across sales, merchandising, planning and marketing teams to drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand and build our long-term connection with consumers. You will partner with our Japan marketing leaders and the Asia-Pacific Latin America geography team to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with athletes. You will also be responsible for managing key agency and vendor partner relationships. This is a team sport and will require consistent collaboration, partnership and consensus across the Nike matrix.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, training and
experience.
Minimum five years of work experience in retail marketing and visual merchandising or related field or minimum 7 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
Outstanding leadership skills with growth mindset to influence functional teams and large cross-functional projects.
Understanding of O2O marketing strategy and tactics across key channels, including creating engaging and inspiring in-store displays for footwear and apparel.
Ability to create unique presentation solutions for various retail environments that inspire the consumer and drive sales.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Japanese and English. This includes the ability to facilitate meetings and present in both languages.
Ability to travel approximately 4-6 times per year to marketplace partner locations throughout Japan.
