In the opening of the Signia by Hilton Atlanta Georgia World Conference Center (https://signiabyhiltonatlanta.com/) , we are seeking an HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic for our property operations team! This exciting new luxury hotel will soon be home to a new destination for upscale hospitality, imaginative dining, and world-class events. With the legendary Georgia World Congress Center as our backdrop, this 976-room property will showcase soul of Atlanta in a whole new way!
As an HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's HVAC and refrigeration equipment/machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Ideal candidates for this position will have an EPA/HVAC certification and previous hotel property operations/engineering experience, ideally at a property of comparable size and of Hilton Brand.
Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work the morning, evening and overnight shifts flexibly, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $31.00 to $33.00 per hour, final offer based on experience

As an HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's HVAC and refrigeration equipment/machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to correct temperature conditions and to make adjustmentsMaintain, monitor, repair, conduct routine preventive maintenance and non-scheduled maintenance of all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment including, but not limited to, replacing mechanical seals, re-packing pumps and valves, replacing bearings and bets, checking for proper alignment, repairing fan coil units, brazing and soldering, calibrating controls, working on pressure vessels, replacing piping and fittingsRecord and report completed repairs and items that require further attentionConduct visual inspections of gauges, dials and mechanical equipmentAssist in start-up, shut-down and operation of all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipmentWhat are we looking for?
