Responsibilities:
iconectiv is seeking a Lead Test Engineer for the TruNumber Gateway application. The Gateway is used to support managing the porting of telephone numbers between telecommunication carriers. You will be responsible for overseeing the test automation team, managing test automation, configuring the application, and associated simulators.
Work with an Agile team dedicated to delivering best-in-class test cases and automation scripts.
Define and implement the test automation strategy, support other testers in their testing activities, create automated test cases and perform automated and manual testing as needed.
Install and configure VMs with the Gateway application and the associated API simulators to support test automation.
Collaborate with System Engineering, Software Development, DevOps, and Program Management in all aspects of the development lifecycle from early design feedback, functional automation, reliability, stress, performance, integration testing, through to supporting production issues.
Requirements:
5+ years work experience as an automated Software Test Engineer is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of test engineers.
Knowledge and experience in the following languages and technologies:
RHEL
Python, BASH, KSH, Perl
SOAP, RESTful services
Web based application
JMeter for performance testing
Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
SSL certificate management
VMWare, Oracle VM, VirtualBox
Skilled with a variety of testing tools and techniques for front-end and back-end test automation - preferably with Robot Framework.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM processes and techniques and familiarity with Helix is an advantage.
Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and work well in a team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.
