Role Summary/Purpose:
We’re looking for a highly driven, self-motivated individual to work with our GE Vernova (GEV) Professional Services & Programs category team. The PSP category is the most diverse category within the indirect sourcing organization – working across Finance, HR, Total Rewards, Legal, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Consulting, and Technical Services globally with every functional team and business unit.
As a member of the GEV PSP Sourcing team, this individual will drive effective program management across a wide variety of sourcing initiatives to include (but not limited to) demand management, savings, sourcing category processes, budgeting, reporting, supplier relationship management, and governance. This individual will operate with the highest integrity and strive to apply The Vernova Way in everything the Sourcing Team is doing. He or she will be seen as approachable, collaborative, and non-political by stakeholders and peers, consistently focusing on results, and customer service in everything they do.

Essential Responsibilities:
At a high-level, this role will partner with thePSP Category Leadersand Indirect Sourcing leaders across GEV to develop world class sourcing roadmaps, perform category maturity assessments across PSP Sourcing team, develop and drive the implementation of action plans.
Develop, deploy and coach GEV PSP Sourcing team on Lean framework and tools (standard work, daily management and problem solving) and best practices sharing.
Work with the Executive Sourcing Leader to identify and support the highest priority projects, creating consistency and driving innovation in the way we execute and track progress across all workstreams.
Lead/coordinate Should Cost Program across PSP Categories to deliver best productivity and services for the business category leaders to deploy.
Lead/coordinate multi–BU Regional Supplier Conferences for GEVusing standard work and best practices.
Develop and deploy standard work for all Executive reviews and report outs.
Work with cross functional team to drive systemic improvements in sourcing analytics, data management, ERP enhancements and various other cross-functional initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
Experience in Sourcing processes, operations and lean with demonstrated success in a role where you had a hand in driving operational excellence on that team.
A proven highly proficient contributor who can proactively identify problems, develop a clear action plan, and execute that plan to drive impact across an organization.
One who understands the balance between innovation and rigor and can balance working with urgency and adapt standard work as needed for the situation.
One who has demonstrated examples of leadership skills: improving team health, growing, and nurturing others, executing across multiple stakeholders, and setting priorities effectively.
High attention to detail, even under urgent or high-pressure circumstances.
Strong analytical (Microsoft Excel, etc.) and messaging (Microsoft PowerPoint) skills to support business objectives.
Strong alignment with GE Vernova Way culture and values, including being a strong advocate for creating diverse and inclusive environments. Appreciating (organizational) cultural differences and different management practices to utilize optimum management methods and dimension the best way forward.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge or experience
Strong, progressive experience inStrategic Sourcing or Supply Chain Experience
Strong policy and procedure development and documentation skills
Effective communication: oral and written skills.
CAS/LTT/OMLP graduate preferred.
