　　Job Summary

　　This position requires supporting development, implementation and roll-out of custom layout automation solution in Virtuoso Studio. Specific job requirement involves

　　Capturing and driving requirements for Custom/ Analog IC design implementation (placement & routing) in the Virtuoso platform, especially for advanced process technologies.

　　Helping enable layout automation for foundries through close collaboration with all stakeholders

　　Building reference flows to demonstrate layout automation solutions for foundries

　　Job Requirements

　　Strong IC design knowledge especially in the custom domain (front to back), along with knowledge of advanced process technologies

　　Good programming knowledge to develop utilities for customer specific needs when a solution is not readily available in the software, along with debugging and analytical skills

　　Strong written, verbal and communication skills to present and demonstrate solution to customers and to generate necessary documentation and collateral

　　Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies to interface with R&D and customer

　　Ability to explore and innovate to address challenging problems

　　Qualification and Experience

　　ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

　　5+ years of experience in IC design and/ or EDA tool development
