Position Summary
Maintains schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control. Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production. Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. May develop raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Responsibilities
• Advanced knowledge in job processes and tools obtained through extensive work experience.
• May be responsible for leading daily operations or projects with the supervision of work performed by less experienced teammates.
• Solves difficult, non-routine problems.
• Communicates information to audiences that may require explanation or interpretation.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience including the following:
Experience in SAP or similar CMMS
Experience with equipment used in production manufacturing process
