What You\'ll Do Skilled in alldisciplines of maintenance, leads and coordinates the work of othermechanics and able to step in and replace the supervisor in his absence.May direct the work of contractors. * Performs all repair andadjustment of refrigeration system, doors, dock boards, pallet racks,sweepers, sprinkler systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, and electricalwork in accordance with OSHA Standards. * Reviews inspection and repairreports and observes progress of work on major overhauls to evaluateefficiency and work quality * Inspects completed work for compliance toblueprints, specifications, and safety standards. * Troubleshootsequipment and recommends corrective action. * Conducts test of safetyequipment (Exit signs, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, etc.) toensure OHSA and operational standards. What Experience You Need * Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. * 7 years\'maintenance experience * RETA Refrigeration Courses 1 -4 andGarden/Lanier Operator 1 & 2 required, with RETA Electrical 1 and 2,Control Theory 1 and 2, CIRO and CARO preferrred. However, as acondition of employment, selected candidates will be required tocomplete (2) courses per year until all RETA courses are completed. *Ability to supervise and inspect work performed by all Levels ofmaintenance associates. * Must be able to work flexible shifts, ifrequired, including on call Physical Requirements: * May be required totolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of -15degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat,cold and precipitation) * Must tolerate heights up to 35 ft. and beable to access elevated platforms and catwalks * Must be able to climbladders and stairs * Frequently required to stand; walk; push; pull;reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; and crouch * Must frequentlylift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Must be able to use hand and powertools * Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and/ormanipulate parts & tools * Specific vision...
