　　Your Role

　　With a keen interest in the development field, your main objective will be to develop software in accordance with the strategy of Kuehne + Nagel. This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development & writing of code alongside suitable & appropriate testing and effective implementation. If you have extensive experience in this field and you are looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we would be interested in hearing from you.

　　Your Responsibilities

　　Be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition through realization to demo and product delivery.

　　Work closely with the business department to find the best technical and functional solution for new feature requests and improvements.

　　Contribute to the active development of the whole product team. Identify and propose changes to improve the Development Process.

　　You will develop Java- and Angular-based internal digital products within the global Ocean Schedule Portfolio (Web/Desktop), write clean code, and take responsibility for the quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software.

　　You will work collaboratively on the definition, specification, and design of modular and integrated software products and design as well as implement automated tests for your code.

　　You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.

　　Your Skills and Experiences

　　Experience in leading small to medium software development teams in an agile environment.

　　Like the idea of being a supporter + mentor, having a strong passion for IT, and knowing how to find pragmatic and innovative solutions with maximum business value.

　　Have the strong will to evolve personally as well as a team in a dynamic environment and foster a no-blame culture, dare to fail, and share opinions.

　　Have an academic degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

　　Have strong object-oriented programming skills.

　　Have several years of expertise being successful in the field as a full stack developer using Java, Angular, SpringBoot-RestAPI, Hibernate, Docker (basics), OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, Oracle, ReactJS, and SQL plus experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript or NgRx.

　　Knowledge about Kafka, API Gateways, Microservice architecture, and DevOps will make you a super interesting candidate.

　　Fluent written and spoken English.
