DUTIES: As a LEAD FINANCIAL SERVICES TECHNCIAN (D2375000),GS-0503-9, you will lead a team of financial services technicians that provide analysis, validation, processing and correction of financial transactions and issues/problems involving the full range of financial services. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year at next lower level GS-07 or the equivalent TWENTY FOUR (24) month of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks to team members in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization; communicates assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion; makes adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities; prepares reports and maintains metrics records of work accomplishments and administrative information; performs broad-in-depth financial analysis of inter-related accounting, logistics and computer file systems; reviewing, analyzing, validating, processing, and executing a wide range of complex pay, voucher, and accounts payable issues and services and to provide accurate financial information to organizational leadership; performs the full range of financial pay, travel, and accounts payable processing, maintenance, investigative review, identification of erroneous payments, analysis and reporting regarding all pay, payments, and entitlements. Education SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Completed undergraduate or graduate education, the awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management in an accredited college or university, (30 semester's hours or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week) for 6 months of specialized experience. Courses must be directly related to the work of the position. Copy of official/student transcripts must be included in order to receive credit for education.
