About Lead Electronics Engineer

  What you’ll do:

  Demonstrates use of their unique skills and technical knowledge to lead multiple large scale projects while working with global teams. Performs failure analysis, investigates and troubleshoots issues, coordinates all work within the scope. and ensures projects objectives are met. Prepares/reviews documents including cost estimates, appropriation requests, project schedules, design and instruction specifications, operating manuals, and technical reports. Understand and incorporate external trends into relevant projects. Provides work leadership, auditing, consulting and mentoring to technical staff.

  Responsibilities

  -Leads the most challenging technical projects and are self directed. Independently performs assignments with minimal guidance and understands the business impact of different solutions.

  -Communication ability and style are critical to this role.

  -Applies advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Proficient at application appropriate tools & processes such as Design For Six Sigma or Lean.

  -Recognized within the organization as an expert in several products and processes.

  -Generates IP and Publications in support of business needs.

  -Intermediate Level: Creativity, Innovation Leadership, and Technical Learning.

  -Advanced Level: Problem Solving

  -Can assess trade-offs between business needs, technology requirements, and cost.

  -Point of Contact with Universities with respect to a specific product / technology. Value-ad contributions in CoP / CoI.

  Resolves problems that are differing, but related. Issues require advanced analytical or problem-solving techniques to identify cause. Develops solutions based on limited information and past experience. Adapts existing approaches. Anticipates future issues.

  Interprets and explains complex information to others often requiring persuasion.

  Impacts monthly performance, occasionally contributes to achievement of annual results. Results impact the immediate work area (department or team).

  Work is done independently, but is reviewed at critical points.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor Engineering Degree;

  Advanced English Skill

  CREA registration is desirable

  Skills:

  Technical Skills

  A. Develop electronic board (PCB), electric motor, solenoid valves, sensors, and wire harness development with suppliers to integrate with Eaton products.

  B. Requirements analysis, hardware specification, design, analysis, supplier management, integration, testing and validation of these embedded real-time systems.

  C. Working with suppliers, internal laboratories and test track facilities to ensure the successful completion of product development and validation testing.

  D. Failure investigation and root cause analysis for both current products and new products in development.

  E. Evaluation of new technology sensors, actuators and other electronic products.

  F. Identification of process improvements.

  G. Identification and implementation of product cost reduction and reliability improvements.

  H. EMC/EMI electronics tests procedures development and test follow up.

  I. Requirements analysis, hardware specification, design, analysis, supplier management, integration, testing and validation of these embedded real-time systems."
