  Impact Makers is seeking a Lead Data Strategy and Governance Consultant to join the Advisory team. This person will help our clients understand the value of their data and the benefits of treating their data as a product. They will articulate the tradeoffs around different data approaches for collecting, storing, transforming, distributing, and consuming data.

  Summary and Responsibilities:

  Advise business and technical client stakeholders on the adoption of omni-channel data strategies for achieving business goals Design multi-phased strategies for clients Work with client stakeholders to help them discover new data insights Advise on enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and API strategies, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship Inform designs, process mapping, migration strategies, development, and testing of domain-driven data architectures Help clients implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality, and the build out of intelligent data solutions Work with designers to help visualize data to provide insights to end-users Understand the business future-state goals and create roadmaps to meet those goals

  Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology (IT) or another related field Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience providing quality IT management services, to include business analysis, strategy development and program leadership; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience identifying and implementing processes, platforms, tools, and capabilities to establish a data strategy inclusive of governance within an organization. Experience as an analytical problem solver who leads with a customer-centered approach, backed by data-driven rigor and an attention to detail. Experience as a relationship builder who knows how to work across the business to build buy-in for data initiatives. Excellent communicator and storyteller; you engage with your audience on a personal level and can choose the right formats and models to engage with different types of stakeholders. Ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly and can comfortably and effectively discuss the tradeoffs and benefits of various approaches with engineering partners. Experience consulting in various industries including Financial Services and Healthcare building relationships at the VP and C-level.

  Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  5 years of experience in implementing data management in the consulting industry Project and Product Management experience Organizational Change Management experience Consulting experience Healthcare and financial industry experience Master's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT) or another related field Professional certifications to demonstrate competency in any area of IT consulting, management, or technology.
