  Job Description:

  As a Lead Conversational AI Designer, you will be responsible for designing, instructing, and applying NLU & AI training frameworks to various bot deployments in DPL. You'll be partnering with other members of the conversational AI team to achieve these outcomes together. Your goal across all deployments will be to achieve best-in-class customer experience and to reduce how many chats break to a phone call. You will have responsibility for various end-to-end automated conversational experiences. Applying modern toolkits and frameworks to achieve best-in-class customer experience and utilization/containment. Training, testing and tuning of full conversation lifecycle (utterances, intents and entities). Leveraging modern model validation techniques to ensure functional and high-quality user experiences. Working with product and engineering teams to implement conversational user experiences. Evaluating emerging conversational UI and AI capabilities and tools. Documenting conversational design, dialog flows, wireframes and templates (flat vs goal-driven) to influence iterative approaches to improve conversational designs, architecture and strategy. Composing dialog and other related copy for conversational experiences that aligns with best practices and brand guidelines. Contributing to requirements gathering, user stories, estimates, and road mapping.

  Responsibilities

  Training, testing and tuning of full conversation lifecycle including model validation.Partnering and collaborating cross enterprise with the Conversational AI team to implement best-in-class customer experience and utilization in DPL.Documenting conversational design, dialog flows, wireframes and templates (flat vs goal driven) to influence iterative approaches to improve conversational designs, architecture and strategy.Evaluating emerging conversational AI and natural language capabilities to influence our domain and tooling strategy.Composing dialog and other related copy for conversational experiences that aligns with best practices and brand guidelines.

  Minimum Qualifications

  At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  Bachelor's degree4+ years of experience in Business Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Graphic Design, Customer Service, Leadership, Project Management, or related experience4+ years of experience in Linguistics, Human Computer Interaction, Natural Language Processing and Understanding, Conversation Design

  Compensation:

  The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
