  Job Summary:

  The Lead Barista will be responsible for providing prompt, professional and friendly guest service to restaurant & bar guests at all times.

  Job Specifications:

  Outlet: Marriott

  Expected Pay Range: $10.63 - $14.32 / hour + tips

  If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20 / hour inclusive of tips

  Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time, Year Round (10 months)

  Skill Level: Lead

  Other Specifics: Tipped

  Job Responsibilities:

  Provide exceptional guest service with a professional attitude at all times.

  Handles all opening and closing duties required to operate the restaurant and ensures that all stocking is done.

  Consistently follows the steps of the service cycle as outlined in the brand standards and ensures the timing and flow of service is correctly paced Demonstrate great food and beverage knowledge with an ability to up sell to ensure guest satisfaction.

  Adhere to all state health regulations and all state liquor laws.

  Adheres to the uniform standards and is productive and professional during entire shift

  Prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, sandwiches and salads

  Communicates all necessary and important information with the Restaurant Manager and the entire Food and Beverage team.

  Ensures that all state health regulations are being adhered to.

  Must be enthusiastic and interactive to help portray a friendly, fun and exciting bar environment

  Print Shift Reports and resets

  Train new staff on IG and restaurant policies and flow

  Other duties as assigned

  Job Requirements:

  High School Diploma or equivalent

  Able to communicate English

  Ability to communicate in Spanish - preferred

  Prior barista experience

  Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

  Able to stand for long periods of time

  Current TIPS certification required within 30 days of hire

  Previous restaurant POS experience - preferred

  The expected pay range is $20.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
