  About this role:

  Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant...

  In this role, you will:Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standardsProvide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze dataEnsure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managedProvide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviewsAssist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supportedStrategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractorsRequired Qualifications, US:

  5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:3+ years of SQL and/or SAS experience1+ year of Teradata experienceExperience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasetsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audienceExperience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasetsAbility to quickly learn business operations and processesAbility to translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendationsExperience coordinating multiple tasks within aggressive time framesAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modelingJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeFlexibility to work from home and meet the home eligibility assessment conditions, based on business needAbility to work additional hours as neededPosting End Date:
