　　SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

　　Responsibilities

　　Record accounting transactions in the general ledger and subledgers.

　　Reconcile discrepancies by assessing all possible sources of disagreement; provide resolution and prepare corrected documents as required.

　　Collect outstanding debt with a personable, detail oriented approach.

　　Utilize accounting system create statements, reports, and tracking system to properly manage vendor payment schedules.

　　Produce all accounts payable vendor invoices and disbursement filing; match and file invoices.

　　Use knowledge of expenditure and accounting codes to ensure proper coding within the general ledger.

　　Provide month-end close support with timely and accurate delivery of information, including invoice accruals.

　　Perform general accounting tasks, such as general ledger account reconciliation and other projects as requested.

　　Process and mail checks, weekly.

　　Assist new vendors in completing credit applications and obtain management approval.

　　Provide management with roll forward schedules for monthly closing and annual audit purposes.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor of Accounting or Finance Degree

　　5 or more years of full cycle accounting experience

　　Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software - preferred.

　　Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel

　　Demonstrated fundamental accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP standards

　　Demonstrated analytical aptitude

　　Ability to function independently with minimal oversight, as well as collaboratively with partners in multiple locations

　　Ability to successfully meet aggressive deadlines
