Opening for a Billing Manager at a Law Firm

Location: Brickell / 33131

Schedule: In office majority; with some flexibility

M-F ; flexible start time 8:00/8:30/9:00 come and leave around traffic

Salary: around $125,000 - stretch to $150,000

Bonus: around 10%

Keys to this role:

Billing and Bookkeeping from Law firm

Oversight of day to day office needs and communications

Proficiency in both English Spanish

Responsibilities: This role manages Billing, Collections Bookkeeping; and day-to-day needs of a law firm group 15-30 members.

Sets up client billing

Manages invoicing and billing in Tabs3 software

Reviews Attorneys Billables hours making adjustments to bill clients

Follows up on Invoices and Collection of Payments

Miscellaneous Bookkeeping and financial reports

Maintains Accounts Receivables

Accounts Payables via approval process and issuing payments, wire transfers

Reconciling of escrow, trust and bank accounts

Ensures proper compliance of escrow, trust and operating accounts

Reconciliation of corporate credit card, expenses and documentation

Enters payroll on a bi-weekly basis via VensureHR

Other duties for day to day operations:

Human Resources: compliance, onboarding, terminations, time-off, open enrollment etc.

Updates employee files, W2, 1099's and other related documentation

Oversees small team of Paralegal staff

Facilitates vendor communication, coordinating for services and supplies
