What YouWill Do: The Laser Operator will manage laser operations includingsetting up and operating laser, loading and unloading material, andrunning the required production programs. Ensure that customer ordersare completed according to schedule, while maximizing machine run timeand productivity. Read part drawings, blueprints, and work instructionsto ensure parts are cut to customer specifications. Modify cutconditions, speeds, feeds and focus to ensure quality cut, and optimalmachine operation Measure and inspect dimensions of in-process andfinished product using precision measuring instruments to ensureconformance to specifications for quality. Resolve quality andmechanical problems, making minor equipment adjustments as needed.Inspect and maintain workplace and equipment for compliance with safetyrequirements. Perform preventative maintenance on a daily and weeklybasis. Set up future jobs on other lasers while machines are operatingand cutting. What You Bring: High School Diploma or equivalent. Aminimum 2+ years\' work experience in manufacturing environment. Abilityto problem solve, multitask, and work independently. Ability to readblueprints, proficient math and computer skills.
