Position Summary:Are you looking for a student position that will prepare you for a career in business or management? The Human Resources Services team is looking for students with some experience in an office or professional environment to assist with Accounting, Payroll, and Personnel functions.
Some knowledge of payroll and/or HR procedures, rules and/or regulations.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
Must be able to work under general supervision, conduct research, and use sound judgement.
Must have meticulous attention to detail.
At least 1 year of work experience, including at least 6 months in an office or professional work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed at least one year of coursework in accounting, business, or human resources.
Position Details:
Applicant must be a University of Alaska student, enrolled and regularly attending six (6) or more credit hours and must possess a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
Depending on the position, remote and hybrid work options may be available. Some positions will require on-campus work.
This is a temporary student position. Starting pay is $15/hour with a flexible work schedule.
