Full Time (04/01/2024 to 06/15/2024).Performs various golf course renovation tasks including prepping for andbuilding of greens, tees, and bunkers; prepares irrigation systemcomponents, glues/fuses connections and tie-ins; installs irrigationlines, wire, and heads; digs holes and trenches, utilizing hand toolsto install drainage and tie-ins; spreads and lays materials such as grassseed, sod, greens mix, gravel, and sand; operates mechanizedequipment to move and install materials. The purpose of the trench, ifneeded, will be to install golf course irrigation components, likedrainage, lateral piping to sprinklers and mainline supply piping thatconnects to the lateral piping. The employees will use an 85 horsepowertrencher for mainline pipes (6 in. through 10 in.), an 85 horsepowervibratory plow for lateral piping (2 in. through 3 in.) to installsprinkler heads, and hand shovels and other hand tools to level ditch linesand create space for irrigation hardware, as needed. The trenches, ifneeded, will reach an expected depth of 26 in. to 44 in. and an expectedwidth of 8 in. to 18 in. at their largest points. $20.96/hour paidbi-weekly. 40hrs/wk. 6:00am - 2:30pm, Sunday - Saturday. OT asneeded ($31.44/hour). Optional company housing will be provided freeof charge for employees outside of commuting distance. Employees who do notrequire or use company housing will receive a housing reimbursement of$231.00 per pay period. LU will use a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due. LU will make all deductions from the worker's paycheckrequired by law. Transportation (including meals, and to the extentnecessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be reimbursed bycompany check if the worker completes half the employment period. Returntransportation will be paid by LU if the worker completes the employmentperiod or is dismissed early by LU. The amount of transportation payment orreimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable commoncarrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at arate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 perday with receipts. LU will reimburse workers for visa, visa processing,border crossing, and related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment (excluding passport fees and charges primarily for the worker'sbenefit), within the first workweek. We reimburse employees who travel bybus to the job site. However, those workers that choose to fly instead arepaid for the bus fare by LU, and then, LU pays for the plane fare, whichis then deducted from their pay. LU will provide workers at no charge alltools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
