Erbert Lawns is looking to fill 6 Landscape Laborer positions. This is atemporary, full-time seasonal position from 3/1/2024 to 11/20/2024.
Begin/report to work: 9892 Titan Park Circle, Suite 2, Littleton,Douglas County, CO 80125 @ $20.25/hr. Employer will transport workersdaily between report to work address and additional worksites.
Additional worksites: (work throughout the followingcounties/areas): Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Douglas,Jefferson, and areas of Denver-Aurora-Lakewood, CO.
Duties: Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding andfertilizing. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, orinsecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automaticsprayers or spreaders. Operate vehicles or powered equipment & other relatedLandscape Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org).Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doingphysically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat orcold. Wages & Conditions of Employment: $20.25/Hour up to possible$26.00/Hour OT $30.38/Hour up to possible $39.00/Hour. Wage mayvary based on Experience. Will use a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due. Wage paid every two weeks. All deductions required by lawwill be made by the employer as well as any further tax withholding or otherreasonable deduction(s) authorized by the worker. Possible offered daily/weekly hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM.40+ (plus); not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possibleweekend/holiday work.
Inbound and Outbound Transportation (Initial Arrival & ContractCompletion/Subsequent Departure): The amount of transportation paymentor reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable commoncarrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at therate required at the time of travel (currently $15.46 per day duringtravel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts).
Transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st workweek) for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for theemployer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Willreimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (not includingpassport
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the p ace the workeroriginally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due tosubsequent employment with another employer.
3/4s Guarantee: The worker will be offered a total number of work hoursequal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.
Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employerprovided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit.
Miscellaneous: Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is notentitled to payment for outbound transportation or the full 3/4s Guaranteedescribed.
