About Financial Analyst - CoE Government Incentives Focal - (B3)

  Role Profile:

  Act as central point of contact for global government incentive activities, including grants and tax credits.

  Interprets internal policy and external contracts to then recommend and execute best practices

  Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

  Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations

  Receives guidance from CoE Management and uses CoE resources.

  Individual Leader - Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or internal customers.

  Requires frequent interaction with executives

  Business Partner - Participate in end-to-end process including concept, deal scoping, financial models, negotiations, deal closure, etc.

  Accounting Treatment - Assist with the determination of accounting treatment for government incentive arrangements

  Compliance / Auditing - Review and document all grant requirements. Track timing/status and results of audits. Ensure all contract terms are being monitored and complied. Arrange/oversee audits as required.

  Transaction Processing - Partner with other teams to establish and maintain systems and processes for detailed accounting. Ensure execution of the required transaction processing (invoicing, billing, etc.).

  Tracking/forecasting - Track status of government incentives across Applied and within regions.

  Reporting - Prepare timely and accurate reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, including External Reporting and C-Suite level. Help develop and maintain centralized reporting tool and process.

  Functional Knowledge:

  Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in accounting at Applied Materials for government incentives.Business Expertise:

  Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  Enterprise Software (SAP, etc.)

  Education: Master's Degree and / or accounting certification (preferred)

  U.S. Salary Range:

  $88,000.00 - $121,000.00

  The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

  For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
