Functions include,but are not limited to the following: Treat for algae, submersed andfloating weeds, shoreline weeds, non-desirable buffer vegetation, andany other unwanted vegetation. Service fountains, aerators, fisheries,sonic solutions, and all other related equipment maintenance. Conductwater sampling when needed for water quality analysis. Servicecustomer\'s ponds and lakes as required to provide superior quality andservice in the fulfillment of all company contracts, service orders, andother related customer needs. Remove nuisance, invasive vegetationthrough manual removal efforts (occasionally). Work with experiencedspecialists to gain knowledge regarding all aspects of water bodymanagement. What do you need? High school diploma or GED Degree inrelated science preferred 0-2 years\' experience in anenvironmental-related field Ability to obtain all state licensesrequired to perform the role Aptitude in using various hand toolsAbility to follow established procedures and practices Commitment to allhealth and safety guidelines Effective verbal and listeningcommunication skills Attention to detail and a high level of accuracyMechanically inclined Ability to swim Ability to trailer and operateaquatic vessels (preferred) Knowledge of aquatic vegetation (preferred)The work requires strenuous physical exertion and the employee may berequired to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and crouch forextended periods of time, as well as see, talk, hear and use hands andarms to grasp, handle, reach, and feel.
