　　Technologist I Responsibilities & Duties Include but are not Limitedto the Following:

　　Following prescribed procedures, performing any of the tests withinany of the laboratory specialties, calculating the results of thetests performed as necessaryOperating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, andmaintaining any laboratory analyzers or equipmentRecognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions; notifyingmanagement personnel when appropriatePreparing reagents or media from a prescribed procedureEvaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to establishedcriteriaConducting established quality control procedures on analyticaltests, equipment, reagents, media, and products; evaluating resultsof quality control and implements corrective action when indicatedDetermining performance specifications for new methodsPerforms instrument maintenance, QC reagents and kitsPerforms routine testing including assay validationsConfirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques,principles, and analyzersMonitoring quality assurance/continuous improvement programsMonitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulationsUtilizes laboratory information systems or other methods toaccurately and effectively report patient resultsReview and follow Standard Operating ProceduresReporting test results conforming to established proceduresSupports Eurofins CellTX business philosophy, leadership values, andethicsIn order to meet Eurofins CellTX\'s quality policy and objectives,all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of EurofinsCellTX quality management system including, but not limited togoodworkmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training,good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.Qualifications

　　MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Bachelor\'s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinicallaboratory science, or medical technology from an accreditedinstitutio If required by the State in which the laboratory is located, theappropriate State License to perform clinical laboratory testingWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

　　Minimum 0-2 years of related experienceKnowledge of the principles, methods, materials, equipment, andtechniques of medical technologyKnowledge of the principles of chemistry, biology, and bacteriologyas related to medical technologyKnowledge of recent developments in the field of medical technologyAbility to perform assigned tasks according to prescribed proceduresand to make accurate observations and records of tests resultsSkill in the use of medical laboratory equipmentStrong communication skills & analytical thinkingPerforms instrument maintenancePerforms freezer, refrigerator, and incubator maintenancePerforms QC reagents needed for patient testingCompetent to perform routine testing for many tests performed withinthe departmentPOTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
