Job Description
Technologist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Following prescribed procedures, performing any of the tests within any ofthe laboratory specialties, calculating the results of the tests performedas necessary.Operating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, and maintainingany laboratory analyzers or equipmentRecognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions; notifyingmanagement personnel when appropriatePreparing reagents or media from a prescribed procedureEvaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to establishedcriteria. Minimum Educational Requirements:
