  Solipsys is a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins Aerospace and an industry leader in the development of integrated C4I Network Centric Defense System solutions for both the Domestic and International DoD.

  We are seeking a Command and Control Systems Engineer, with experience with United States Marine Corps (USMC) systems and operations, to work in a hybrid position based out of Fulton, MD. This position resides in Fulton, MD, offering a flexible, hybrid role with some time required on-site in Fulton each month and the opportunity to work from home on other days.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  In this position, you will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert on challenging software development projects primarily focused on USMC programs.

  You will be engaged with exciting and innovative advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies.

  Subject Matter Expert in USMC operations and systems

  System requirements analysis, definition and management

  Technical Leadership of engineering development teams

  Systems integration, functional and performance requirements

  Qualifications/Experience needed:

  Experience with USMC C2 systems, such as the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S).

  The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience as lead systems engineer on a software development program.

  Experience with Tactical Data Links message protocols such as Link 16

  Experience with any of these systems: Command and Control (C2), Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems or Combat/Fire Control systems, Satellites

  Adept at communicating (verbal and written) with all levels within and outside the company, ability to prepare and deliver presentations/summaries which appropriately address the intended audience

  Active security clearance is preferred

  This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program.   The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
