Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Laboratory Technologist to join the team at one of the largest health care organizations on Long Island. In this role, the successful candidate Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs various clinical laboratory tests in one or more sections of the Laboratory Department in order to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Analyzes and interprets test results, and ensures accuracy of same. Repeat tests as necessary, especially those yielding abnormal or atypical results, and notifies appropriate personnel of such results.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Laboratory Technologist License

　　 NYS Education Department Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

　　 Effectively communication and interpersonal skills

　　 BS in Medical Technology which includes a clinical internship or BS in a related discipline with one year supervised clinical laboratory experience null
