Phlebotomy Lab Instructor
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday – Thursday 2:45 p.m.- 5:45 p.m. or 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. as needed.
Pay / Hourly: $16
SUMMARY
As a Phlebotomy Lab Instructor, you will provide hands-on instruction that ensures phlebotomy students are job-ready. This position is based in Lehi, but may require occasional travel to the Spanish Fork campus.
Phlebotomy courses run for eight weeks. The need for lab instruction depends on the curriculum/skills being taught in a given week. For this reason, lab instructor hours are varied; lab instructors may work between 4-24 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the Phlebotomy Lab Instructor include, but are not limited to:
Supervising, managing, and assisting students in the lab.
Teaching techniques and basic concepts to students.
Occasionally substitute if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
National Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification
One year of experience as a phlebotomist in a clinic, lab, hospital, plasma/blood donation, or similar field.
Applicant must be BLS CPR/First Aid certified through the American Heart Association.
