JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are currently looking for a part-time (24hours/week) Lab Assistant to join our team at the Somerset Cliniclocation. Position is eligible for part-time beneifts including medicaland dental insurance. Position Scope: Responsibilities include: PerformLaboratory procedures according to established clinic guidelines andother relevant regulations. All programs and activities are designed tosupport the short and long term mission, goals and objectives of theStillwater Medical Group. This position is expected to support themission, goals and objectives of the Stillwater Medical Group.Qualifications CPR certifications required. A minimum of one yearcustomer service experience preferably in health care setting.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.Education: Licenses, certification, or registration which indicateattainment of a recognized level of competence and which meet Federal,State, or local requirements and are required for employment. Highschool diploma or G.E.D. Phlebotomy Certification preferred. Current CPRcertification required. OSHA Training Skills required: Advancedorganizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skillsin English Proven ability to manage multiple priorities daily. Knowledgeof health care field Skill in performing assigned tasks appropriately;tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions Ability to learn andretain information regarding patient care procedures; to project apleasant and professional image; plan, prioritize and complete delegatedtasks; demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others; applywritten instructions and standardized work practices; communicateclearly; and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff,patients and families.
