  Job Description Summary

  The Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) at GE Vernova – Hydro develops commercial leaders through stimulating rotational assignments and a rigorous training curriculum. CLP prepares its members for off-program placement in commercial roles by providing the opportunity to learn about GE Vernova’s products and customers, while also making significant contributions to the business.

  Job Description

  The GE Vernova Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) is a two-year program with four rotations, each six months in duration. You will be part of the GE Vernova team, focusing rotations in our Hydro business. Assignments will vary but will relate to commercial operations, pricing, marketing, product sales, or other sales support functions. CLPs are expected to be active outside of their main roles by taking part in or leading various small projects, committees, and other activities. In this role you are expected to leverage your problem-solving and people skills to bring solutions both internally and externally.

  Essential Responsibilities

  Throughout the two years duration of the program, the assignments will vary depending on business requirements and the off-program role objectives. However, the CLP can expect the following responsibilities and experience during program:

  A two-year program providing on the job experience with personalized rotation assignments within the commercial functions and other areas of Grid Solutions giving you exposure to different products, and leaders.

  World-class training in sales, leadership, and business skills. Program participants strengthen their commercial, business, and leadership skills by completing an intensive curriculum of classroom, hands-on, and online training.

  Work closely with the commercial team to support development of the overall business growth strategy, including market analysis and market opportunities identification and execution of the sales growth plan.

  Support Sales Managers to define the sales strategy for targeted clients and develop a thorough understanding and analysis of the core markets.

  Partner with the Proposal team in the development and compilation of proposals to meet customers’ and sales team requirements.

  Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risk with the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.

  Build and present the Risk & Opportunities analysis and the associated risk mitigation plans alongside the Sales Managers.

  Support Sales Managers in the negotiation with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value to contribute positively to sales, orders, and profitability.

  Participate in or deliver customer presentations.

  Accepting of formal mentoring and coaching by senior management.

  Required Qualifications

  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant science degree, preferably in Electrical. Mechatronics, Power Systems, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering

  Prior intern or co-op experience, or relevant work experience (0- maximum of 2 years post university graduation) preferably in sales, sales support, or marketing in the Energy Industry.

  Academic excellence; minimum 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (out of 4.0) or equivalent

  Language: English and Portuguese fluency required; both written and spoken

  Demonstrates a strong interest in the Energy Industry

  Legal authorization to work in the United States. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

  Le programme de Commercial Leadership de GE Vernova est un programme de deux ans avec quatre rotations, d’une durée de six mois chaque. Dans ce rôle, vous devez tirer parti de vos compétences en résolution de problèmes et en relations humaines pour apporter des solutions à la fois à l’interne et qu’à externe.

  Responsabilités essentielles :

  Tout au long des deux années du programme, les tâches varieront en fonction des exigences de l'entreprise et des objectifs du rôle hors programme. Cependant, le CLP peut s'attendre aux responsabilités et à l'expérience suivantes au cours du programme :

  Un programme de deux ans offrant une expérience de travail avec des tâches de rotation personnalisées au sein des fonctions commerciales et d'autres domaines vous donnant une exposition à différents produits et dirigeants.

  Formation de classe mondiale en matière de vente, de leadership et de compétences commerciales. Les participants au programme renforcent leurs compétences commerciales, entrepreneuriales et de leadership en suivant un programme intensif de formation en classe, pratique et en ligne.

  Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe commerciale pour soutenir le développement de la stratégie globale de croissance de l'entreprise, y compris l'analyse du marché et l'identification des opportunités de marché et l'exécution du plan de croissance des ventes.

  Aider les responsables des ventes à définir la stratégie de vente pour les clients ciblés et à développer une compréhension et une analyse approfondies des principaux marchés.

  Collaborer avec l'équipe de propositions dans l'élaboration et la compilation de propositions pour répondre aux exigences des clients et de l'équipe de vente.

  Gérer et négocier les risques commerciaux et contractuels avec le processus Inquiry to Order (ITO).

  Construire et présenter l'analyse des risques et opportunités et les plans d'atténuation des risques associés aux côtés des responsables des ventes.

  Accompagner les responsables des ventes dans la négociation avec les clients; garantir que les transactions génèrent de la valeur pour les actionnaires afin de contribuer positivement aux ventes, aux commandes et à la rentabilité.

  Participer ou remettre des présentations clients.

  Qualifications requises :

  Master en ingénierie ou équivalent, de préférence en génie mécanique, en systèmes électriques, industriel ou électrique.

  Première expérience souhaitée à minima en stage (maximum de 2 ans d'expérience de travail après l'obtention d'un diplôme universitaire), de préférence dans la vente, le soutien aux ventes ou le marketing dans le secteur de l'énergie.

  Langue : maîtrise de l'anglais requise ; écrit et parlé.
