The Kingdom of Saudi Arabic (KSA) Head of Marketing is responsible to drive overall Customer Funnel Growth by making Amazon as the preferred shopping destination in the kingdom. This is the senior most role for marketing in SA. The leader represents the KSA customer interests and delivers against the KSA customer objectives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. The head of marketing is directly responsible for the KSA marketing team and partners with the business, payments, and public policy teams in the marketplace. The KSA Head of marketing represents Amazon externally with business partners and media. This person would be a single threaded leader responsible for growing customer acquisition, engagement and perceptions, by efficiently and effectively managing marketing inputs. This position will be expected to:
• Long Term Customer Growth Plans: Lead the Customer vision, strategy and plan with the goal of both attracting new customers and increasing purchasing frequency with existing customers in partnership with the local business leads. The role aggregates and synthesizes insights from customer research, internal data, channel performance and business requirements to build and execute Long Term and Annual plans. This involves end-to-end country marketing plans (Go-to-Market, customer journey, resource deployment, store wire-frames, messaging, creative development etc.) and annualized calendar to drive Customer Funnel Growth. Engage with key internal stakeholders across regional and country teams to develop integrated, cross-category plans that leverage all aspects of Amazons product and all communication channels to bring Amazon’s propositions to life for customers.
• Represent Amazon Externally: Lead media engagement in KSA, including interviews, position articles, press releases, representation in external conferences, workshops, and other marketing initiatives.
• Team Growth: Lead a team of local marketers to plan and execute customer plans. Hire and Develop, the local marketing team and contribute in developing local Saudi talent, promote Amazon in recruiting activities, participate in talent development programs.
• Customer Program: Conceptualize and scale customer programs across sub-segments (e.g. Youth), customer occasions (e.g. Football) and new launches.
• Scale Marketing Channels: Builds and execute unified marketing strategy across all owned and operated channels. Improve CX through discovery/navigation paths, targeting/personalization, campaign/creative development and experimenting to optimize across mweb, web, and App. Includes (i) Homepage, customer’s gateway to discovery, navigation and perception; (ii) Outbound (Push & Email), to engage passive customers and (iii) Free Social to drive perception by delivering a localized content calendar integrating brand, topical, product and category messaging.
• Events: Builds and execute comprehensive annual event calendar and lead on-site GTM for Events including store wireframe, homepage, outbound and organic social strategy.
• Deals: Lead deals workstream across business channels balancing superior CX with business efficiency. This includes deal tenets, targets and approvals, analysis and reporting, feature rollouts, and program management.
• Partnerships: Build a win-win sustainable marketing partnership, to drive customer goals efficiently.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in leadership roles, overseeing teams conducting data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Experience defining marketing strategy and executional excellence
Experience managing teams
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with executive leadership in large organizations
