We are currently accepting applications for an upcoming 2nd Shift Kit Cut Technician II need at our Renton location.Kit Cutter IILocation: RentonJob Type: Full Time, Non-ExemptSchedule4, 10-hour shifts per week!Start Time: 3:00 p.m. (Monday-Thursday)BenefitsMedical (free employee only coverage and low-cost options available)Dental, Vision, PrescriptionLife and AD&D InsuranceCompany Sponsored 401k with Employer MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramTuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPay: $24.20/hr - $28.60/hrIncludes 10% Shift DifferentialPositionAs a Kit Cutter, you will prepare Prepreg materials used for each kit designed for a specific part, according to Standard Work Instruction (SWI).Responsibilities:Verify materials being used in accordance to the manufacturing plan; using a computer program to print out materials forms.Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.Select the determined material, cut Prepreg material either using templates, 3 axis CNC machine or computer-based program according to Standard Work Instructions for each part, roll material into cardboard tube for support, and attach part tag in preparation for delivery to layup.Adhere to schedules and time allowances for production requirements; ensuring that the materials provided contain sufficient hours to produce a part without violating specification requirements.Qualifications:Able to communicate questions and concerns with others in work group.Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.Ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently.Excellent hand eye coordination; attention to detail.Skilled in basic math calculations and the use of measurement tools.Basic computer skills.Experience in composites preferred.One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.Working conditions:Exposure to loud soundsPushing, pulling, bending, and liftingHandling objects up to 50 lbs.About UsFor over 30 years SEKISUI Aerospace has been designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products for the aerospace industry.
