　　WHAT YOU’LL DO:

　　Liberated Brands is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Liberated Brands team at our Costa Mesa Office! The Staff Accountant ensures the accuracy of accounting information by recording, analyzing, and verifying transactions. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will work cross functionally with all members of the Accounting and Finance team. This position will also partner closely with other business partners.

　　Oversee the accounting of the company’s wholesale, retail, and outlet divisions:

　　Participate in the Month, Quarter and Year-end close process

　　Ensure proper adherence to the company’s internal controls procedures

　　Assist in the completion of balance sheet reconciliations, including explaining & reclassifying variances

　　Work with A/P, A/R and Treasury personnel to ensure process control and accurate recording of financial information on a weekly and monthly basis

　　Assist in the preparation/review of General Ledger journal entries

　　Assist in process improvements, including documenting processes and procedures and identifying and developing internal controls

　　Perform under deadlines and demonstrate willingness to work long hours if needed to complete projects on time.

　　Additional ad-hoc projects as needed

　　WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

　　A Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field of study

　　2+ years of accounting/finance related experience preferred

　　Licensed Certified Public Accountant a plus, but not required

　　Advanced Excel skills required (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas mainly)

　　Advanced analytical and strong modeling skills

　　Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with emphasis on meeting tight deadlines

　　A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team

　　Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $19-24/hour. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
