We are looking for an Public sector Hybrid sales to join our team as a trusted advisor with a relentless focus on bringing value to our customers within Public sector. You will be responsible for helping our customers effectively engage with our solutions (Talent, Learning). You will be dedicated to making our customers stronger and seeking out opportunities for growth. Although you possess a strategic approach to selling and strive to meet/exceed revenue goals, you will always have your clients’ best interest in mind and act as their internal advocate to ensure they are set up for success.
Responsibilities
Upsell existing accounts and developing new accounts in public sector in Japan.
Establish executive-level relationships
Manage existing and new customer relationships for revenue and relationship growth both over the phone and in-person meetings
Maintain prospecting activity to build a healthy pipeline and increase revenue/market share
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory and provide reliable forecasts
Act as a brand evangelist to improve awareness & understanding of LinkedIn Talent Solutions
Close new business consistently at or above quota level
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales partners
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of sales experience in public sector (Government, Academic institution)
Business fluency both in Japanese and English for written and verbal communication to communicate with our different stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with recruiting, recruitment media and HR software
Experience with SaaS opportunities and Salesforce.com platform
Experience selling IT or recruiting solutions
Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions
Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
