　　Join a growing Michigan company that has been providing janitorial and maintenance for over 60 years. We are accepting applications for a full-time Supervisor in Lansing.

　　The supervisor oversees the associate's scheduling, training, safety, and quality inspection.

　　Purpose: Ensuring safe and efficient operations by managing accounts and employees to deliver high-quality services and maintain the company's profitability.

　　Salary: Negotiable based on experience

　　Responsibilities:

　　Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the company policies and applicable laws.Support employees through training, coaching, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.Coordinate and motivate subordinates and their workloads. Clearly understand actual hours versus control hours and how these impact the account and company.Counsel employees on personal concerns about the company, management, proposed changes, or events by clearing up misunderstandings.Inspect assigned locations using Clean Telligent to ensure that work performed satisfies company and customer quality standards to ensure account retention.Assigns tasks to workers and inspects completed work for conformance to standards & specifications.Ensure all safety requirements are fulfilled and identify and share best practices.Monitor and order supplies as needed.Inspect equipment to ensure it's in good working condition.Help to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.Resolve day-to-day operations problems and make the area manager aware of them.Review and ensure accurate timekeeping records.Set high standards and keep subordinates working toward them.Work with other team members and take directions from customers and managers.Perform other duties as assigned or requested.JOB REQUIREMENTS

　　Education:

　　A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate degree or higher preferred.

　　Experience:

　　Minimum of 2 years' experience in janitorial services and operations, with a minimum of one year of supervision.

　　Supervisory and janitorial experience is required.

　　Prefer knowledge of cleaning operations, such as all cleaning tasks, floors, and machines.

　　Must have good communication skills, be well organized, and complete tasks promptly.

　　Ability to follow directions from the operations manager and customer.

　　Excellent attendance and being on time are a must.

　　Minimal Technical Skills: PC/software: Basic skills in Excel/Word/and other Microsoft Office components.
