The ITAR Compliance Specialist III ensures compliance with State Department regulations governing the manufacture, export, and temporary import of defense articles and services. They manage international supply and export orders, communicate availability and delivery status to customers, and work with buyers and vendors to obtain ITAR information and export control classifications. They track ITAR items in shipping paperwork and reference license numbers to expedite shipments, search NSN and part numbers in the ERP system to flag them as ITAR and assist in releasing shipments. They provide tools and training materials for operational processes for logistics and export activities. They compile and obtain information for license applications, as well as export filing declarations copies from carriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx. The ITAR Compliance Specialist III is a senior role with extensive experience with ITAR-related controls and processes. The ITAR Compliance Specialist III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.
Minimum Qualifications
9+ years of experience
Bachelors Degree in related discipline (candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit)
High School Diploma + 13 years of experience will also be considered.
Active Top Secret clearance

5 years of position-specific relevant experienceThe projected compensation range for this position is $118,300-$198,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
