About IT Technical Support Specialist - II

  TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support Analyst to work on site for one of our Fortune 500 clients in Oshkosh, WI. Ideal candidates will have a bachelors degree within information technology and at least 5 years experience . Applicants must be flexible to work a normal first shift as well as some weekends or off hours for project work.

  The primary responsibility of the IT Support Analyst is to provide technical support while accurately utilizing the incident and request management system to respond to customer needs.

  Job Duties:

  • Identify, triage, and resolve end user device problems.

  • Accurately, document, track, and monitor problems using applicable systems and tools.

  • Provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

  • Installation and support of company required hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP, scanners, phones, tablets) and software.

  • Be a resource to the IT Platforms (Zoom, Local Backups, Local Servers, Local Networks, etc.) that may need assistance with Projects and support of the day to day IT Infrastructure at the location they support

  • Support conferencing/collaboration technology leveraging client solutions of Audio/Visual displays (Zoom, telephony, etc...)

  • Hardware configuration and deployment

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays based on project needs.

  YOUR EXPERTIENCE AND EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in desktop support, service desk, or related experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required for offsite executive support.

  • Experience working with video and audio-conferencing services such as WebEx, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Experience and proficiency with software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

  • Experience supporting mobile devices and mobile applications.

  • Customer focused with ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skill with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.

  • Strong time-management
